John Plantagenet

King of England from 1166-1216. He was considered England's worst king. He was nicknamed John Lackland by his nobles. John's recklessness cost him a large portion of his lands in France. John had an affinity for gambling, collected rare books and gem stones. He had a strong temper and was known to indulge.
